Mohammed N. Mujumder is a proud Bangladeshi-American; who prior to his immigrating to the United States practiced law in Bangladesh. He earned his Master's and LLB (Law) degrees from the University of Chittagong, Bangladesh. He earned a second Master's Degree in Law (LLM). from Touro College Jacob D. Fuchsberg Law Center in New York. After arriving in the United States, Mr. Mujumder spent some years working various jobs to make ends meet. After many years of working odd jobs, he landed a job as a Civil Service Caseworker with the New York City Human Resources Administration (HRA). As a Caseworker, After many years of serving the city, Mr Mujumder transitioned into working for a midsize Law Firm in Manhattan. There, he served as an International Associate from 1999 to 2019; upon the retirement of the founding partner. 
 

Since January 2019, Mr. Mujumder has been managing the Law Firm of H. Bruce Fischer P.C. in the Bronx. In addition to dedicating time to his legal career and business, he has been extensively involved with Community service and activism. In 2005, Mohammed founded the Mujumder Foundation; a non-profit he created to help promote education and health and to stand against hate and discrimination. Moreover, he is a major proponent of numerous hate crimes that have occurred against minorities and Muslims. Over the years, the Mujumder Foundation has helped organize backpack/school supply giveaways, health screenings, blood donations and COVID Antibody testing in the District. For the last 15 years, his office in the Bronx has been open to help people navigate government benefits. His years of service to his district have been recognized by the NYC City Council, NYC Mayor‘s Office, NYS State Assembly, Senate, and the US Congress. In 2010, the NY City Council in a Proclamation cited Mr. Mujumder as the “Champion for the Immigrants’ Rights”.

Mr Mujumder is currently Serving as the President of the Bangladeshi American Community Council, (BACC) He also, serves as a board member for Community Board 9 and has served as the Chairman of the Land and Zoning committee since 2010 to April 2022. He has been serving as the Frist Vice-Chairman of the Board since 2012. During his years on the board, he helped initiate many projects throughout his district, Mr Mujumder holds all positions available on the board including twice as the Interim Chairman and as the Chairperson to hire DM of the Board. Mr. Mujumder has recently been elected as a Board of Directors at Parkchester North Condominium. In April 2022 US President Joe Biden Awarded Mr, Mujumder with (PVSA Award) Presidential Volunteer Service Award for his more than Six thousand hours of community and Volunteer Services to build this nation and the world. Mr. Mujumder is married to his wife for the past 34 years she also served as a Judicial Delegate with New York State Assembly they have a Daughter Nasrin, an attorney and Son Rashad serving as an Assistant District Attorney, of the Bronx. They were both born and raised, and finished Law school while living in the Bronx. Mr. Mujumder spent a major part of his life in the Bronx, he invested almost all of his wealth in the Bronx Real Estate and Business. His contribution to the Bronx is beyond immagine.
